3. We will be having the Miss Teen Van Buren
High School pageant on January 19th at
7:00 in the VBHS Fine Arts Center. Any young lady
that is a student at the Freshman Academy may
enter the pageant. There are entry forms in the
office that can be picked up starting
Monday, December 10th. Entry forms are due back
on January 11th, and there will be a mandatory
meeting for the contestants on January 11th in Mrs.
McPhate’s room immediately after school. This
meeting will last about an hour, and parents are
welcome to attend. Students can contact Mrs.
McPhate if they have any questions.

4. 1. Students who wish to change their schedule for next
semester must have it completed before this
Friday. If wait until next semester it may or may not
be changed.
2. You must pick up a Change of Schedule Form in the
Counselors office.
3. The Counseling office this week is going to be printing
schedules for next semester and distributing them
though 6th hour classes this Wednesday. It would be
a good idea for you to put your locker combination
on them for when we return back to school on
January 7, 2013.
