How To Stream Video Games Online Using Xfire
Recently video game streams has been getting
common in the gaming community whatever is
your reason for creating a stream maybe to offer
walk through guides or show off your gaming
skills . Some of you probably have thought of
starting your own streams but have not a clue
where or how to start well that question on how
to stream video games online would be
answered .
Below is a simple guide to set up and use Xfire to create your own online video game stream. I
chose Xfire because it is one of the easiest program you can use to stream videos games
online one done right you can start in under 10 mins.

Download the and install Xfire client if you don’t have it installed yet.
After installing don’t forget to allow Xfire through the firewall.
Open the options to begin configuring Xfire.
After opening the settings panel click the option
which say video capture & broadcast .

3. The video quality depends on how much FPS was set on the quality slider 25FPS = Low
30FPS = Medium 60FPS = High
Under the Live Broadcast section select Broadcast Game Audio if you would like xfire to
broadcast your game audio then from the drop down under Audio Mixer and Game Audio
Source select the correct driver. Broadcast Webcam select this option if you would like to
broadcast your webcam and the last option is to Broadcast Mic only select these additional
options only if you want them they’re not required when your done hit close to finish.
Note : The only if Xfire has detected your game then you will be able to use Xfire in Game if you
would like to manually add you game follow these steps
Open the options menu
Now select Game Library from the left.

4. In the box below type in the name of the game you’re trying to add then select the name when
it appears . In the guide we’ll be using Halo after you found your game click add game.

5. Now you would be asked to located the .exe needed to launch the game now browse to the
directory where the game’s installed select the .exe file and hit open after the games been
added you can close the box and go ahead to the next step.
Testing Your Settings
Open the game you just manually added to Xfire once all steps is done correctly you game
should have these both items showing in game.

6. Broadcasting
To begin broadcasting you will have to press Scroll lock + B at the same also if you would like
to give your broadcast a unique title just edit the default name given click ok when your done all
videos broadcasted will streamed on your Twitch Tv account.

7. Now you’ve finished its time to show your friends and the world your stream.
