3. Safety first Make a teacher page. Keep personal page separate. Get signed permission slips from parents or guardian. Have students to create a limited profile with controlled settings. Don’t allow students to share personal videos and photos with you. Min-feeds and photos should be turned off.
4. Sharing exemplary Work Sharing excellent work encourages other students to do their best. Sharing excellent work also gives the student whose work is being displayed a sense of pride.
5. Sharing Video and photos Have students take video and pictures of fieldtrips and classroom projects. Classroom Videos and photos help promote a sense of belonging.
6. Share Notes Share classroom notes. Post a daily blog on interesting classroom topics. Post your expectations on a classroom project
7. Updating your status Make classroom announcements Post classroom surprises ex. Special speaker tomorrow! Updating your status often can keep students engaged in the class.

9. Using facebook As an elementary classroom teacher, I plan to use facebook to create a sense of committee with students and parents. I plan to use all the features listed in the PowerPoint to communicate and connect with students and parents. I believe it will make communicating much easier and more fun.
