The document reports on recognized and suspected occupational diseases in Finland in 2011 as recorded by the Finnish Register of Occupational Diseases. It provides data on the number and types of cases by year, disease group, industry, occupation, region, gender and socioeconomic status. The number of recognized and suspected cases was 4,692 in 2011. Hearing loss, repetitive strain injuries, and allergic respiratory diseases were among the most common disease groups. Construction and manufacturing were industries with high numbers of cases.
