                                   Mission Statement

The Office for Student Affairs provides services, programs, and facilities that advance
student success, inspire students to make life-long positive contributions to society,
promote an inclusive community, and enrich the University of Minnesota community.
   •   Student Success includes retention and graduation, post-graduate employment or
       education, and achievement of the student learning and development outcomes.
   •   Inclusive community refers to an environment where all feel welcome, accepted,
       and respected.
   •   The University of Minnesota Community includes students, staff, faculty,
       colleges, departments, parents, alumni, residents who live in the neighborhoods
       contiguous to the University, as well as other individuals or organizations
       impacted by the programs, services, and facilities that we provide.

                                   Vision Statement

The Office for Student Affairs provides leadership in achieving the University of
Minnesota’s goals and creating and sustaining a world class student experience.
