The purpose of the USAG Japan Community Information Exchange
(CIE) is to allow organizations to discuss services and support provided
to the Community. This forum facilitates dialogue and an opportunity for
units to obtain Community information to take back to their Soldiers,

A review of various community feedback methods (ICE, Facebook,
emails, etc.) for the month of Feb 2014 has identified the following
issue of general interest to the community. The purpose of this brief
is to provide further clarification to those comments.
Comment: Recommend Public Service Announcement be widely
disseminated through the USAG-J Command Channel (13), Garrison Face
book, and Torii Newspaper prior to any changes made to Guest and
Temporary pass procedures.

Visitor’s Pass
Due to regulatory changes with the implementation of USAG-J
Regulation 190-13, Sponsors will no longer be able to receive
unescorted passes or DBIDs Cards for their English Students.
Garrison is allowing the current issued passes until the date of
expiration but will not reissue unescorted passes or DBIDs Cards
for English Students. There has been an announcement sent to
the Garrison Public Affairs Office to be sent out to Zama wide
expected sometime this week
