Work experience
From December 2009 – till date, working as Beverage Specialist for Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach – an iconic property
(erstwhile Holiday Inn Mumbai) located in the prestigious locality of Mumbai Suburbs. It is 40 year old 200 room hotel which is
very well known and respected in the market for its location and F&B facilities. We have 4 restaurants, 1 sea lounge, bar1 Deli
apart from room service and banqueting accommodating 700-1000 persons. I lead a team of only 5 Bartender
And generate revenue INR 10 Crores beverage Sale per annum with 70% profitability.
Generally, the responsibility and general scope of work includes
Specialist Role:
- To train the staff about Beverages and Bar Tending
- Handle Procurement of Beverages, assisting the Beverage Manager
- To inform the guests about the new beverage trends
- To assist the beverage manager in planning the beverage promotions for the outlets
- To liaise with Beverage vendors over promotions pertaining to the beverage sales
- To introduce new and exciting Brands in the menu according to the current F&B Trends
- To assist the Beverage Manager in Beverage Contracting
- To run Beverage Up selling program in the Hotel in liaison with the Beverage Partners
- To run an efficient Bar operation with well trained and attentive staff, to provide and
-Ensure high level of guest satisfaction in dining and beverages consumption.
- Ensure that the company policies and standards for Restaurant Operations are implemented
and closely monitored
- To ensure a prompt, courteous response and follow up on all enquiries.
- Ensure that all booking details and requirements are catered to as per the standards.
2. November-2007 to November 2009 THE OBEROI HOTEL Apprentice Steward
The Oberoi in Mumbai India is ideal for business guests, as well as those on holidays. Situated on the end of nariman point
overlooking the Arabian Sea, it ranks amongst one of the best hotels in India. During my tenure, I have handled the following
responsibilities.
Worked with various bars of different bars Like opium den, banquets bar and service bar was responsible for bar operations.

Worked as a bartender for spritz bar in mirador hotel was responsible for bar operations.
JAN-06 to FEB-2007 GRT GRAND CHENNAI Steward
Worked for Azulia as a steward independently handled the the section which was allocated.
MAY-OCT 2007 HOTEL AMBIKA EMPAIRE CHENNAI TRAINEE
A three star hotel was trained in all the department.
