• Water
• Hand soap
• Cloths or Gauze
• Antibacterial ointment
• Bandage

3.  Wash hand with soap and water
 WARNING: If cut is on hand skip step one and
proceed to step 2.

4.  Rinse cut with only cold water
Step 2

5.  Apply Pressure with a clean cloth
 CAUTION: If bleeding does not stop, proceed to the
nearest emergency room or call emergency number
for medical help. DO NOT STOP APPLYING PRESSURE.

6.  Apply a thin layer of antibacterial ointment once
bleeding stops

7.  Wrap cut with bandage
