The document discusses bridging the gap between different levels of business process modeling. It presents the ImportNET approach, which models processes from the strategic level to the functional and operational levels. At the functional level, an ontology called DDPO is used. The gap is closed by reengineering the functional-level ontology into an executable process at the operational level. This is demonstrated on a use case of synchronizing design processes, modeled from the strategic to operational levels using BPEL.
