This document contains records of exchanges between participants in Todd's Global Postcard Swap from February to April 2013. It includes postcards and messages sent between students in countries such as the US, Germany, Spain, Romania, Russia, Taiwan, Ukraine, Greece, and Bulgaria. The students share greetings for holidays like Easter and spring traditions. They express excitement about receiving cards and gifts from each other in the mail. Todd from the US coordinates the exchange and displays the cards he receives on a bulletin board, which impresses other teachers.

Dear Ilse,
we've got 2 letters: from your son and the USA!
Thanks a lot! We'll answer by all means. This delay is
only because they don't sell any Easter postcards so
far. Our Easter is in May. (….)

Dana's students in Galati / Romania have made 'Martisoare'
for their friends and peers abroad of Todd's Global Postcard
Swap and send them out all over the world.
'Martisoare' (literally translated: little March) are small red
white ribbons that are given to friends, in order to greet the
March / spring. A beautiful tradition in Romania and some
neighboring countries at the beginning of March.

were extremely excited!!! If you look to the
left of the picture (on my bulletin board) you
will see some cards that we received from
Montse and her students telling us all about their Carnival
and to the right - cards from Shiran in which they were
enthralled by the German writing. It was a great week for the
students here. As you can see, my board is filling up and is
almost ready for a needed expansion. Other teachers are now
coming to my room and are completely enthralled by the
display. Thank you to everyone involved in making this post
card project such a wonderful success (….) “

Of course, he immidiately had a look at his computer in order
to admire the beautiful Bulgarian city of Varna (Black Sea
Coast), where the great students of Daniela are living.
