• 1971: established by Mr. H. Vis as independent engineer
• ’80-’90: expanded to an international consultancy and engineering firm
• ’90-’00: specialized in growers associations
• 2000: operational energy consultancy & CHP
• 2001: purchased by Westland Energy
• 2007: together with Westland Energy purchased by Essent
• 2009: together with Essen purchased by RWE
• 2010: privatization (management buyout)
