The funda goes like this
• Originally, Miyamoto wanted to create a video game
that used the characters Popeye, Bluto, and Olive
Oyl. At the time, however, Miyamoto was unable to
acquire a license to use the characters (and would not
until 1982), and ended up making Jumpman (later
known as Mario), Donkey Kong, and Pauline. In the
early stages of the game, Mario was unable to jump,
and the focus was to escape a maze. However,
Miyamoto added in that ability, saying
• "If you had a barrel rolling towards you, what
would you do? Mario's name was originally "Mr.

  Miyamoto developed.

• Major-General Sir Thomas Munro, 1st
    Baronet (27 May 1761 – 6 July 1827) was a
Scottish British East India Company Army
officer and statesman. In 1820, he was
appointed governor of Madras, where he
    founded systems of revenue assessment
    and general administration which
    substantially persisted into the twentieth
century. An equestrian statue of him, by
Francis Legatt Chantrey, stands in Madras
city. Though he is unknown to many of us,
he has his own godly fame.

• Douglas Adams's 1982 science fiction
comedy novel Life, the Universe and
Everything – the third part of The
Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy series –
features the X, as a significant element of
its plot. X is stolen by alien robots, as the

• Late Night with Conan O'Brien: X was in a skit in
which he made a phone call to guest Jim Carrey.
• Red Dwarf: X appeared in a special programme about
the popular British science fiction series.
• Host: Masters of Science Fiction.
• In," Descent, Part 1", Brent spiner is seen playing
poker with holographic depictions. X portrayed his
own hologram for this episode, making him the only
guest in any Star Trek series to play himself. When
taking a tour of the set, he paused at the Warp core,
smiled, and said, "I'm working on that." During the
tour, X requested, and was allowed, to sit in the
  captain's chair of the Enterprise-D.
• Brent Spiner (Data) reportedly quipped, in an
obviously tongue-in-cheek manner, that X’s cameo was

According to folklore, Achong is said to have had
Walter Robbins stumped off a surprise delivery

Robbins said to his teammates "Fancy being

• X is a german movie,a 2003 film by Sönk
Wortmann, which tells the story of a German
family (particularly of a young boy and his
  depressed ex-POW father).
• The gist of the story:
• There are several miraculous events in the
movie. For Richard, it is the sudden joy of scoring
a goal with an abandoned soccer ball. For Rahn, it
is seeing Matthias on the sideline that spurs him
into scoring the winning goal. For Sepp
Herberger, however, the miracles are more
mundane. The sudden rain occurs and as the
German captain Fritz Walter tended to perform
better in stormy conditions, but not so much the
Germans fitted with Adi Dassler's revolutionary
  screw-in football studs.”

true identity was revealed to Y in "Last But Not

money and to elevate the popularity of a sport
he loved. Although 55 years old, he
deliberately played the male chauvinist card
and came out of retirement to challenge one
of the world's greatest female players
Maragret court to a match, claiming that the
female game was inferior and that a top
female player could not beat him even at the
age of 55. This led to an epic event in the

• Iznogoud is a French comics series featuring
an eponymous character, created by René
Goscinny and Jean Tabary. Iznogoud is the second in
command to the Caliph of Baghdad Haroun El Poussah but
his sole aim in life is to overthrow the Caliph and take his
place. This is frequently expressed in his
famous catchphrase, “I want to be Caliph instead of the
Caliph”, which has passed into everyday French for
qualifying over-ambitious people who want to become
chief. Iznogoud is always assisted in his plans by his
  faithful henchman, Dilat Larath.
• A typical example is when Iznogoud discovers the "Road to
Nowhere", a road that only leads back to itself, and
devises a plot to lure the Caliph there so he will become
eternally trapped. In his excitement over the prospect to
accomplish his life's mission, Iznogoud forgets that he
needs an exit for himself. As in every Iznogoud story,
Iznogoud is ultimately unsuccessful, and the Caliph
  continues his reign.

• "Strangers in the Night" is a popular song written by Ivo

Croatian. Bert Kaempfert bought the rights of the song for
the film A Man Could Get Killed, which introduced the song

Ludwig van Beethoven in 1804–08. This symphony is
one of the most popular and best-known compositions in
all of classical music, and one of the most often played
symphonies. It comprises four movements: an opening
sonata, an andante, and a fast scherzo which leads
attacca to the finale. First performed in Vienna's Theater

• X once contacted the poet Alfred Tennyson in response
to his poem "The Vision of Sin“, X wrote In your
otherwise beautiful poem, one verse reads,
• Every moment dies a man,Every moment one is
born. ... If this were true, the population of the world
would be at a standstill. In truth, the rate of birth is
slightly in excess of that of death. I would suggest [that
the next version of your poem should read :Every
  moment dies a man,Every moment 1 1/16 is
born.Strictly speaking, the actual figure is so long I
cannot get it into a line, but I believe the figure 1 1/16
will be sufficiently accurate for poetry.
• X was a mechanical engineer, who
believed in machines and also credited
with the invention of the pilot in the
  automobiles and also the opthamalscope
which he gave it to a physician for testing

one else was given the credit of inventing
it. He invented something which is

• The bird shown on the medieval seal is generic, but the wording
of the seal contains references to King John, who granted the
town’s charter in 1207. John, in honor of his patron saint,
frequently used the device of an eagle - long associated with St.
John. Further indication that the seal was an homage to King
John is found in the sprig of broom initially shown in the bird’s
beak, broom being a symbol of the royal family of Plantagenet
• By the 17th century, the origins of the bird had begun to be
forgotten, with references to the bird as a cormorant, still a
common bird in the coastal waters near X.
• The bird thus appears to have originally been intended to be an
eagle, but is now officially a cormorant. Many modern
interpretations of the symbol are of a cormorant, although
several - notably that on the X’s logo distinctly show the short
head and curved beak more readily associated with a bird of

that it plays like a horror film. X inspired Bill

  • 77. 14.ID the creature am talking about. • The bird shown on the medieval seal is generic, but the wording of the seal contains references to King John, who granted the town’s charter in 1207. John, in honor of his patron saint, frequently used the device of an eagle - long associated with St. John. Further indication that the seal was an homage to King John is found in the sprig of broom initially shown in the bird’s beak, broom being a symbol of the royal family of Plantagenet • By the 17th century, the origins of the bird had begun to be forgotten, with references to the bird as a cormorant, still a common bird in the coastal waters near X. • The bird thus appears to have originally been intended to be an eagle, but is now officially a cormorant. Many modern interpretations of the symbol are of a cormorant, although several - notably that on the X’s logo distinctly show the short head and curved beak more readily associated with a bird of prey.

  • 150. 30.X. • X (1928) is an American silent film directed by the German Expressionist filmmaker Paul Leni. The film is an adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel of the same name and stars Conrad Veidt as Gwynplaine and Mary Philbin as the blind Dea. The film is known for the grim Carnival freak-like grin on the character Gwynplaine's face which often leads the film to be credited to the horror film genre. Film critic Roger Ebert stated “X”is a melodrama, at times even a swashbuckler, but so steeped in Expressionist gloom that it plays like a horror film. X inspired Bill finger, Bob Kane and Jerry robinson to do something. What?
