Robić, Charles Singleton, Eddie Snyder and Bert
Kaempfert. The song was originally from Ivo Robić who
wrote it for the festival in Split but the song never passed
the selection, so later on he sang it in German and in
Croatian. Bert Kaempfert bought the rights of the song for
the film A Man Could Get Killed, which introduced the song
"Strangers in the Night". The song was made famous in
1966 by X. The track was recorded on April 11, 1966, one
month before the rest of the album.
• One of the most memorable and recognizable features of
the record is X’s scat improvisation of the melody
HOWLING like a Dane as the song fades to the end.
