• Vikas is the founder of Thought at Work. He has served in Manufacturing-Consumer
Durables in Khaitan Fans India Ltd., Carrier Corporation, and Whirlpool India and later
in Services - ITES/BPM in Hewlett Packard and WNS Business Services before setting up
consulting and training company. He has set-up and led Pan-India as well Global –
World-wide roles in Strategy, Business Operations, Business Planning, Quality, Industrial
& Process Engineering. He was among the first few in INDIA to deploy LEAN in
Manufacturing-Consumer Durables Segment in Carrier Corporation .He was the
pioneer worldwide in ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) –kick starting
Process and Industry Innovation by envisioning a Business Performance Management
(BPM) Framework by deploying Industrial Engineering (IE) & LEAN SIX SIGMA Principles
in Global Business Services in Hewlett –Packard. He has travelled around the globe to
guide & consult ,facilitate workshops & business war-rooms and training programs in
Mexico ,Costa Rica ,USA ,Spain ,Poland ,UAE ,Germany ,UK ,Italy ,The Netherlands

• Salil is a Gold Medallist in Engineering and completed his Post Graduation in Management
from Indian Institute of Management ,Ahmedabad . He has worked with leading

Corporation. He has been a thought leader and has authored articles and been invited to
speak at industry forums. He has taught at various academic institutions including the

costs. His experience spans across manufacturing and service organizations and he has done

engineering . He has also worked with the government and with development organizations in
a consulting role. He is a pioneer in the Business Process Outsourcing area and has been
involved in planning and executing strategies to outsource business processes to India. He
created the transition tool kit for the outsourcing industry . He has designed and conducted
programs in the areas of Six Sigma, project management, change management,
communication skills, meeting effectiveness, leadership, conflict management and creativity.
