Sesam is software for transportation and installation analysis of offshore structures. It performs linear and non-linear analysis to evaluate deflections, stresses, code checking, and fatigue during transportation, lifting, launching, and installation. The software suite includes modules for coupled response analysis, offshore structure design, and hydrodynamic analysis. Sesam can model all stages of marine operations to safely transport, install, and qualify offshore structures.

 From base model – export the deck to new GeniE analysis
 Import an existing barge (or make a new)
 Move deck to intersect with skid beams or sea-fastenings
 Export model for hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis
 Import results from hydrodynamic and run linear structural analysis followed by
result evaluations
