star assessment of their needs.
•Support to access information, day care,
respite breaks, Carer support groups,
counselling, volunteer opportunities and
access to an independent advocate.
•Plus NEWCIS general service-For
example-employment and education
facilitator, social opportunities etc.

• To encourage referrals
from these areas of
Flintshire to create a
more equitable service
for Carers.

• To provide a new Male Carer
group for Carers living in
Coastal/Rural areas of
Flintshire.
• To reduce social isolation and
enable Carers to maintain their
caring role.
