1. Weekly News from WCUMC-10/21/2012
Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world.
"You Will Receive Power ...
And You Will Be My Witnesses"
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you
will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8
To witness is the calling of EVERY Christian. To fulfill our calling to
witness:
We must live the good news through our words, thoughts and
actions.
We must have a personal relationship with Jesus that is making a
difference in our lives.
We have to have something to share!
We must be ready and willing to share the Good News whenever and
where ever we can.
Some of us may be hesitant to talk about our faith because we aren't
sure we have anything to share. We don't always have to be talking
about the faith, but we do need to have a passion and a plan for sharing
the faith, and believe that it makes a life and death difference.
Because it does!
"We don't have to worry about not having anything to share. If we love
2. Jesus, if he's making a difference in our lives, if we care for others and
believe that Jesus can make a difference in their lives, then we can
share our love and our concern, and in doing so, share Jesus."

4. Do You Green Bag?
The Woodinville Storehouse Food
Bank needs your help.
We are experiencing increasing numbers of clients in need each
week and our Storehouse shelves are very bare. Can you help?
The Storehouse is very thankful to all who faithfully donate on a
regular basis, but did you know that you can also "Green Bag" on a
one-time basis. All you have to do is sign out a Green Bag in the
foyer and fill it up with items from the enclosed list. When you are
done you can put your Green Bag in one of the collection barrels
and sign in your bag. Some of our volunteers immediately check
out another Green Bag and return it once a month.
This Week's Needs:
