Question 4
How did you use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and
evaluation stages?
Blogger
A variety of technologies have been used
throughout my project which have allowed me
to store and present my research and planning,
construction and evaluation. I have used
Blogger in order to present my work as well as
to store and view my work. This has also
allowed me to share my work with my class, my
tutor and also means my work is safely stored.
Research and Planning
By using Blogger as an overall store of my
work, I have been able to discover and use a
wide range of online websites that I have been
able to present my research and planning
through. These include Powtoon, Prezi, Slides,
Emaze and Slideshare that have all enabled
me to be creative with the way I share my work.
Construction
Music Video:
As a group, we used a Panasonic HD camera to record our
Music Video which captured our shots in good quality.
Professional music videos are captured with much more
high quality but expensive technology and so we used a
college camera wasn’t so high quality but still produced a
higher enough quality for our work.
We then edited our Music Video using Adobe Premier Pro
which was great software that allowed us to edit our clips
efficiently and easily.
Construction
Print Work:
We created our print work using Adobe Photoshop which
was software that I was familiar with and provided me with
tools to create professional looking print work. Elements
such as the ‘Curves’ feature as well as the brightness and
contrast editors enabled me to edit my photographs to a
high standard and elements as the opacity could be altered
to accommodate the border and blocks of colour behind
text and blend them into the background.
