4- SCIENCE (IN MODERN TIMES USED FOR NATURAL SCIENCE)
5- SOCIAL SCIENCE
Note- It is impossible to classify knowledge in sharply distinguished field s
because knowledge fields are mostly interrelated . It is just for the
convenience of mind for the academic functionality.

3. 1- ARTS
Creating paintings, Drawing, Creating
music, Dancing, Magic, creating poems or
literatures, designing , comedy, film, and
so on….. are known as Arts.

4. 2- LOGIC
 Logic is the foundation for all fields of
knowledge.
 It is used almost in every intellectual
activities.
 Philosophical and Mathematical concepts are
basically based on logical thinking.

5. 3- MATHEMATICS
 Mathematics is the true incredible logic of
human mind with a great predictive power
and beauty. Mathematics is the greatest
teacher of Science.
 Four major Division of Mathematics are
Number Theory, Algebra, Geometry, Analysis.

6. 4- SCIENCE
The term Science is basically used for Natural Science in
modern times with the idea that the sole judge of
Natural Science is the experiment. Scientific method is
used in science.
The word Science is derived from Latin word scientia
which means ‘ to know ’.
so we can question-
What to know- Knowledge or Nature
How to know- systematic & well-organized
Why to know- understanding our Nature & other things.

It is the study of human society and their
behavior .
Social Sciences
History, Economics, Sociology, Human
Geography, Law, Political Science, Education,
Psychology, Linguistics, Anthropology,
Philosophy, Behavioral Science, Management,
Environmental Science etc.

-Fields of Applied Sciences.
Engineering- Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical
and Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Computer

-Applied Mathematics- used for human related
problems as well as scientific needs.

Classification
If we use the term science in general context including
the meaning of science in the classical thought as
knowledge as well as the modern thought of science as
a way to study knowledge especially nature.
We then say that everything is science(i.e. , Knowledge)
so we can divide knowledge under the general heading
of science as following:

NB- some academics use the term Humanities for social science in a broader sense but it seems more beautiful to use social
science as per the science classification.
