Is the ability to think in three dimensions.

Involves:
A sense of timing.
The perfection of skills through mind-body union.

11. Bodily-kinesthetic

– Playing board games, video games, etc.
– Using drama (role play, simulations)

12. Interpersonal Intelligence
The ability to understand and interact effectively
with others.
It involves:
Effective verbal and nonverbal communication.
The ability to note distinctions among others.
Sensitivity to the moods and temperaments of others.
The ability to entertain multiple perspectives.

13. Interpersonal

14. Intrapersonal Intelligence
The capacity to understand oneself and one’s thoughts
and feelings, and to use such knowledge in planning and
directing one’s life.
It involves an appreciation of self and the human condition.

16. Naturalistic Intelligence
Is the ability to recognize, identify, and classify
patterns in nature such as plants and animals.

balance and relationship between humans and nature.

18. Sitcom Setup
• Congratulations! You have been selected to be a member of the cast of a
new reality series entitled “America’s Next Top Genius: Downtown.”
(The budget for the show is next to nothing, so no one can afford to send
you and your cast members to some exotic location…sorry.) Everyone
on your show is highly intelligent… in some way or another. Sometimes
this can be a blessing when you all are assigned a task to complete and
everyone works together. Most days, though, this creates high drama.
Your task today is re-create a scene from your show in which your
dominant intelligences created harmony or chaos.
• You have 15 minutes to design and rehearse your scene. Time limit for
scenes is no more than 3 minutes.
• At the end of your scene, you must ask your audience to determine
which character from your show displays which of Gardner’s Multiple
Intelligences as his/her dominant intelligence. Remember, it’s not about
how smart you are, but about how you are smart.
