2. Personal Courage When Rosa got her first job she protested in a quiet way to the segregation. She refused to take the “colored” elevators, use the water fountains, etc… Rosa and her grandfather stood to guard his farm from the Ku Klux Klan, a group of white people that burned churches and homes of African- Americans The judge said that Rosa had broken the law. Rosa lost her case and paid $ 14. However, she stood up for her rights and dignity. Rosa found a seat in the middle section of the bus. A white man boarded the bus and the driver asked all the African-Americans to move to be back. Rosa did not move. The police arrested her. White students called black students names and threw things at them. One day Rosa said to one white student to stop and after that he left Rosa alone Rosa and all the African- Americans in Montgomery protested for the segregation in the bus. They began a boycott and did not use the bus.
3. Personal Courage Rosa lost her job because her work on the boycott. But Rosa wasn´t worried. She earned money by sewing at home. In the summer of 1963, Rosa went to Washington for the protest called “the march on Washington” . The protest was for the civil rights . Rosa could be arrested but she didn’t care. Some white people threatened to hurt Rosa´s family but she continued protesting in favor of the civil rights. And the bused continued to be empty.
4. Red for Courageous Rosa Parks one day found a seat in the middle section of the bus. A white man boarded the bus and the conductor asked all African Americans to move to the back of the bus. All the African Americans moved to the back of the bus but Rosa didn´t. Then the conductor asked Rosa if she was going to move and Rosa said no. Rosa was arrested by the police. This shows that Rosa Parks was a courageous person. Courage is a very important human virtue.
5. Orange for inspiring Rosa Parks is inspiring because she inspired African Americans to fight for the civil rights and against the segregation in the bus. Because of Rosa Parks the bus boycott was a success.
6. Green for hopeful Rosa Parks is hopeful because she hoped that one day the life of African Americans would be easier and that segregation between white people and African Americans would end. Rosa Parks dreams became a reality in 1965 when President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
7. Perfect place of Rosa Parks Equality I have chosen this place because this is where Rosa Parks made history in the year1955 and also because at the top there is a poster that says equality. Rosa Parks wanted that the white and the African Americans would be equal.
8. Rosa Park´s Award This balance represents the symbol of justice. I have chosen this symbol because Rosa Parks was a really just person. She fought against the segregation between the white people and the African Americans . Every body should be equal independently of the color of their skin.
