Theme: Architectural Exploration of Salford Quays
Predicted final outcome
I am going to produce 50 high quality pictures taken on Salford Quays of the buildings
and landscapes, I live near Salford quays so I’ve already been there plenty of times
and am aware of what I will be taking pictures of and how I can take them to my
best ability. I would like to take these pictures when it’s getting dark if possible
because that is when they turn all the lights on and it looks its prettiest. I am also
hoping to go to china town in Manchester city centre in the evening because the
lights they have are beautiful and it looks so cute. Out of the photos that I take at
both places I will choose 10 that I think look the best and then start my post
production process.

Randy scott slavin
I really love all of these 3 images but mostly the first by Randy Scott Slavin, it looks
crazy like he’s spinning down a hole and is taking a continuous shot while he’s on his
way down, which is genius because that could have a hidden meaning like in his life
he’s spiralling downwards and this image represents that, of the sky disappearing and
everything turning into nothing. I want to take pictures on Salford quays or in china
town like this image by randy.

2. Rut Blees Luxemburg
This artist is also really good and this particular image is amazing because of the
positioning where the photographer would have stood to take this picture from ontop
of a building so that you can see the car park, the lighting is really cool too you can
tell it is taken at night.

3. Hufton + Crow
The photo imaging equipment and medium that will be used and why
I will be using a college camera Canon 7D/Nikon 3100 these take really good pictures
I have used these cameras previously, I will be using a tripod too.
Techniques that will be used and how they will help convey the visual message
I will use the camera – Nikon or canon in manual setting and I will do the shutter
speed, iso and the lighting.
