Cars can be heard in the background – but music is heard overall. All natural light – Exterior shot – daytime/morning. Cut to two people carrying suitcases/bags (LS). They start walking across the road.
3. Cut to from the right of the mise-en-scene; Enter WILL (Haseeb), walking uncomfortably. Briefly cut to two people. Walking towards camera (static) Enter DODGER (Jack), walking confidently towards WILL. D jumps on W’s back saying “Hey!”
4. Cut to MCU of W and D. WILL: Get off! D: What’s up? (SRS – CU)... Cut to WILL (LS) who starts to walk away from DODGER – D runs to keep up, pats W on shoulder but is ignored. (walking to towards camera, camera starts to pan following them as they pass.) Cut to ELS through fencing. W and D are in shot (distant). Cut briefly to two people – LS. They look over at W and D. Continue walking – Person 1 looks sad. Two people walk past camera (static).
5. Cut to two people inside a building (stairs). Person 1 turns to look behind them – as though looking for something. PULL FOCUS. Cut to upstairs. Person 1 drops keys. (LS) CU of Person 2, picking up keys. CU of P1 snatching keys from P2. P1: I can do it okay! P1 turns to unlock the door.
6. SCENE 2 – WILL and THERESA... Scene cuts to MCU of DODGER knocking on a door. Music in Background?? Interior lighting – use FLASH. Cut to OTS of THERESA opening the door. D: Libs in?... T: Yeah she’s...
7. Cut to camera behind T – who motions to her left pointing upstairs. D enters through door and leaves upstairs. WILL enters and stands at door – uncomfortable. Cut to T’s POV of W. (MLS). Awkward W: Hi. T: Hi W: Are you okay?. Cut to OTS shot of T. Awkward, trying to avoid conversation. T: Yeah, just tired and stuff...
8. Cut to MCU of WILL. (SRS) This sequence is repeated during the scene. Until T says: Thanks for stopping by... W: I hope she feels better... Cut to DEEP FOCUS shot of T shutting door on W. Cut to BCU of THERESA. W: I thought you were ignoring me... T: Why would I do that?...
9. SCENE 3 – WILL, DODGER and LIB Natural Light – Exterior shot – daytime/midday. Music in Background?? Scene opens with WILL sitting alone on a bench surrounded by trees. Enter DODGER and LIB who sit down either side of him. D: We’ve been looking everywhere for you. What are you doing here? Cut to MCU (eye level) of WILL turning to D. W: Where else would I be? Cut to MCU (eye level) of LIB – turning to W. L: With Theresa?
10. Cut to MCU (EL) of W, facing L. W: She doesn’t seem to want to talk to me... Cut to MCU (EL) of L, trying to comfort W. L: She’s in a bad place at the moment... Cut to slight HAS of W hugging L. W: I’m sorry Lib, are you okay?...
