This document provides an overview of basic iPad functions for educational purposes. It describes how to use common features like the home screen, apps, keyboard, camera, Safari browser, and display options. 3. Finger Moves
• Tap – lightly press an icon
• Drag – keep fingers pressed down on the
glass

• Flick – lightly whip finger up or down a

• Double Tap – zoom in on photos

• Open – Tap the icon on the home screen
• Return to Home – Press the Home button

6. Arrange Apps
• Touch and hold until app jiggles
• Drag app to location
• Press Home button to save arrangement

– Hold and jiggle an icon
– Drag one icon onto another icon
– Name the folder and then add more apps
• Limit 20 apps per folder

– Double click home button
