2. The term “Telangana” was designated to distinguish the Telugu region from
Marathwada as part of Hyderabad State.
One of the earliest references to the word Telangana can be seen from the name of
Malik Maqbul, who was called Tilangani, which infers that he was from Tilangana.

widely known for celebrating festivals Dussehra , Bonalu (celebrating the Hindu
