Problems:
• Info overload: ~4500 research articles published / day
• Non-transparent: 1-5 year delay before publication
• Unpublished negative results == useless repetition of work
Solution – motivate scientists to:
• Openly share ALL data
• in ~real-time
• in machine-readable format
