- Why do we wanna do this? When I explain twitter to most people the obvious reaction I get is why would any one want to do this? who cares? -Its not really about the silly trivial thing you do, it's about what are you thinking right now: Link sharing, engaging in conversations, and share intelligence with your followers in real time. You are the stream-you shape it and decide who to follow
- Its all about you, You chose who to follow based on your friends or interests. So lets say I’m into wine and art, I’m gonna follow the top experts in the those fields. If I’m into VC, and tech I can follow the most interesting folks around the valley: like Micheal Arrington, Scoble, Steve rubel Fred willson, etc...
- Twitter has gone mainstream in the US, surpassed 30 M users, and became among the top 20 websites on the web
- This “Mindcasting” is changing things rapidly, as things actually being brodcast in real time to the world.
