so that we can identify the possible e-teachers we will need to offer from our online community and
what courses we will need to access from other online communities.
It is only in draft so don’t be concerned if you cannot be fully accurate. Base your needs on the subjects you
may be having to offer through correspondence school, or from your current e-students (if an existing

As you are aware, in 2014, each FARNET & HARBOURNET school will need to commit to provide
● E-TEACHER/s: At least ONE teacher from each school, with sufficient time allocated to running
this course (option line) – If enrolments exceed 25 enrolments, you will need to provide 2
e-teachers. If you are unable to provide an e-teacher for 2014, you will need to provide a
further 0.2 staffing.
● E-DEAN: ONE person from each school to take the responsibility of the PASTORAL care of your

● PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: Both e-Dean and e-Teacher/s will need to attend the one day
Professional Learning Development (PLD) workshop on Friday, 15th
November and Saturday,
16th
November @ Bream Bay College to ensure they are equipped with the tools and support
to be an effective e-teacher or e-Dean. Existing e-teachers and e-Deans will be expected to
attend also.
