Product Overview
The Athento family of products is a group of intelligent
management solutions for documents and business
content, developed to satisfy the specific needs within
the field or to the industry-specific needs of the client.
All Athento products incorporate the latest technologies,
such as semantic technologies, and others within the
field of Artificial Intelligence, with the objective of facilitat-
ing – and making easier – work with documents and
content.
Athento Platform
All of Athento’s solutions have been developed under
this framework, which works, at the same time, as an
Enterprise Service Bus, providing properties of interop-
erability and making the connection easier among other
systems. Athento Platform permits the development of
new functionalities with products in the suite or the
construction of vertical document management and
content solutions.
Horizontal Solutions
Athento iDM
Athento is the result of a new way of understanding
document and content management in businesses. It
was developed with one aim: to achieve that, via a
software tool, document management could be brought
closer to what people would do, but without the interven-
tion of people. Athento helps business to automate tasks
and gives teams of people better flexibility, thanks to
accessing content from mobile devices, integration with
digital signatures, online editing of documents and publi-
cation on social networks. What’s more, Athento is
multi-repository, which allows it to be integrated with
traditional document managers such as SharePoint,
Alfresco, OpenText or Nuxeo, to offer clients its
advanced functionality.
Athento Capture
An intelligent capture solution for documents on paper or
other content in electronic formats, such as e-mail or
faxes. Athento Capture allows users to automation of
tasks such as recognizing and classifying documents,
extraction of metadata and indexing content and the
capture of e-mails. Athento Capture boasts one of the
highest document recognition rates on the market (98%)
and is a solution which offers independence with respect
to document repositories.
Vertical Solutions
Athento e-Administration
A group of document management modules oriented
towards meeting specific needs in public administration.
Includes modules for the National Interoperability
Framework, management of procedure files, register of
document entry and exit.
Athento e-Health
A group of document management solutions directed at
the Health sector. Includes the Paperless Pharmacy and
Informed Electronic Consent modules.
