First Reflex Therapy Braille Book in India
Sensei Maxwell Jude Anthony, Chief Instructor of Reflexology,
Designed and Developed the Course ware for Reflex therapy, for the
Blind.
National Institute for Visually Handicapped Printed this course ware at
their in-house Braille Press.
This “Reflex Therapy” text book was launched by Naturals at
Kotturpuram Head Quarters, On April 10th
, 2013.
Special thanks to Dr.Arivanandham Israel, Regional Director, South
India; for his immense interest in launching Reflexology Course for the
Visually Impaired in India and his help in printing India‟s first Braille
book in Reflexology.
3 MONTHS COURSE – FIRST BATCH
REFLEXOLOGY AT NIVH, CHENNAI
11 Visually impaired candidates participated in
this Reflexology course, launched by NIVH in
association with Naturals Reflexology.
The course was formulated with International
Standards for Reflexology. The three months
course consists of first two months of class
room, hands –on training and 3rd
month in
clinical practice.
Course period was 6th
March 2013 to 5th
June
2013.
The visually impaired has to be minimum 10th
Standard, English speaking, at age between
21years to 30 years to qualify for this course.

About the Internship Clinical Training
Each trainee had experienced real-time clinical practice at Naturals
Parlors and Spas. The trainees were able to put to you what they have
learnt in their class rooms about reflex therapy.
Each of the reflex therapist-trainees, enjoyed working on various types
of customers who walk in each day for reflexology service. The trainees
smartly diagnosed the feet –health conditions of the customers,
interacted with the customers professionally and won the admiration of
one and all.
The trainees recorded their clinical experiences in diagnosing and
treating the various ailments during this internship.
Supervision of the trainee, follow-up was carried out by Mr.CK Ashok
Kumar, Mr.Jayseelan & Sensei Maxwell. Technical assistance was
provided by Sensei Maxwell to the trainee.

The first batch of 11 trainees is fit to work as „Reflexologist‟ in the
Society. The visually impaired, through the training of Reflexology, can
now lead an inclusive-society life along with other sighted people.
Sensei Maxwell thanks each trainee for bringing a good reputation to
