Choose the one that works for your blog
3. Where are the
readers?
• Facebook
• Twitter
• Forums
• Surfing around the internet
• Watching TV
• Shopping
4. Let everyone know
your Blog URL
• Fill in the “Blog URL” section for all Social
Network you are on
5. Let everyone know
your Blog URL
• Put your blog url on your email signature
6. Let everyone know
your Blog URL
• Put your blog url on your forum signature
• *Check with moderators first
7. Read other people’s blog
• Read and comment on other people’s blog
• Link to their blog in your blog article
• (Don’t over do #2)
8. Allow RSS
• Really Simple Syndication
• Subscribe on RSS readers
• Google Reader
• RSS Reader mobile app
• PS: Your Campus Spy blog don’t have :P
9. Tell everyone on
Twitter
• Post a link to the blog entry on Twitter
shortly after blogging
• There are WordPress plugin that helps you
do it automatically
10. Tell everyone on
Facebook
• Post a link to the blog entry on Facebook
shortly after blogging
• Write a short description about your blog
entry
• Works well if your blog entry has pictures
• DO NOT USE any Plugins that
automatically post to your Facebook

13. Engage in the community
• Join the community where your readers
will hang out
• Facebook Pages
• Forums
• Attend events where other bloggers or
your audience will attend
14. Get yourself a Namecard
• Good for events or when meeting new
people
15. Family and Friends
• Tell them about your blog
• But be careful!
• Don’t bitch about them in your blog
• Check your blog history too!
• Make sure you are comfortable with it
