Peer education training sessions
October
26-30 : Y-PEER Morocco Advanced Training of Trainers
The Advanced Training of Trainers was organized by Y-PEER Morocco and
UNFPA country office, in Rabat. From 26 to 30 October, 17 young people
participated in the training. They came from different cities and villages around
the kingdom and represented different NGOs.
The 5 days training was full of interactive exercises, presentations and teamwork.
Participants were tremendously motivated and engaged during all activities
and sessions. As a reward of their hard work and the efforts of Y-PEER trainers,
they became officially Y-PEER Morocco’s Focal Points.

01-11-2015 : Y-PEER Morocco National meeting
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the upcoming activities of the
network and aimed to explore possible options for collaboration between Y-
PEER Morocco and other NGOs. The event was organized in Rabat with UNFPA’s
technical and financial support. 22 focal points from different parts of the
Moroccan kingdom, as well as UNFPA representatives, attended this meeting.

2. December
04-05: Y-PEER Morocco Scale up Meeting
UNFPA and Y-PEER Morocco organized a
national scale up meeting to discuss Y-
PEER Morocco’s Strategy with
representatives from governmental and
non-governmental organizations.
03-06: YPEER Regional Leadership Training
The Y-PEER Regional Leadership Training took place over the course of 4 days in Amman, Jordan. 5 Focal
points represented Y-PEER Morocco in this event. The main goal of the training was creating a new
generation of Y-PEER Leaders who can facilitate the involvement of Y-PEER in the Sustainable
Development Goals’ implementation at the local level. It aimed as well to expand the base of leadership
and investment in this new group of leaders, who will represent the core of the future generation, regional
and national Y-PEER leadership. The training helped the participants enhance strategies to scale up
YPEERian ways of approaching marginalized youth.
Y-PEER Morocco with the support of UNFPA Morocco office has celebrated the 10DoA, from November
25th to 9th December, in 7 different cities around the kingdom of Morocco. The theme of the10DoA
campaign for 2015 was: "Young adolescents and inequalities in access to information and services
related to health. This edition of the campaign was marked by several activities and events, including
the organization of :
2 stands in two cities with more than 700 visitors.
9 awareness sessions in 7 cities for 231 participants, 12 of them are young people with disabilities.
A photo competition.
A poll on young adolescent rights to access to SRH information and services, 432 filled in the form.
More than 1400 youth and adolescents took part to these events, organized in different cities and
villages around the kingdom of Morocco.
November 25th to December 9th: Y-PEER Morocco 10DoA campaign
