2. From the global perspective Western Siberia is a distinct
area of environmental harmony with unique replenishable
natural resources.
3. One of the nature’s gifts
there is Maxillopod
Artemia, which inhabits
bitter salinas.
4. These lakes are closed depressions left from the inner
Tertiary sea, which is found in the depths of Western
Siberia in the form of sedimentary rocks. The lakes’
salts, water, and peloid deposits at the bottom and
over the salinas’ shores form a salutary source of
organic and non-organic substances which have
unique chemical composition and bioavailability to
Artemia organisms.
5.
6. Using state-of-the-art technology, Research
and Production Center NEKA produced
maxillopod Artemia cysts extract, a lipid-vitamin
complex. This Artemia cysts extract
has no parallels among traditionally used
sources of macro-, micro-, and ultra-microelements.
7. 70 elements of the Mendeleev’s table were identified in
its chemical composition. Laboratory investigations
showed extremely high level of bioavailability of the
elements of the extract.
8. Lipids, vitamins, and antioxidant
substances were identified among its
components. Polyunsaturated fatty
acids to essential fatty acids ratio is to
4:1 (weight %):
- Vitamin A (retinol) 0.35
- Vitamin E (tocopherol) 0.3
- Cholesterol 3.3
- Squalene 2,0
- Myristic acid (C 14:0) 0.6
- Pamit-oleic acid (C16: 1) 3.5
- Palmitic acid (C16: 0) 6.0
- Margaric acid (C17: 0) 10.5
- Stearic acid (C18: 0) 4.0
- Oleic acid (C18: 1) (omega-9) 6.0
- Vitamin F
10. The extract is characterized not only by a balanced
content of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, but also
by the presence of growth factors and other biologically
active substances, shown as “other”. They play a key role
in the regeneration of different organs’ tissues.
It is known than embryogenesis recapitulation forms the
basis of regeneration morphogenesis. That is why Artemia
cysts extract is the most rich source of such substances.
11. The extract use areas are medicine and agriculture. The
extract forms the basis for the development of a variety
of environmentally friendly prevention and treatment
products, containing only natural substances for:
- Cancer;
- Neurodegenerative diseases;
- Diseases of the heart and blood vessels;
- Respiratory diseases;
- Diseases of the female reproductive system;
- Liver disease.
12. The extract forms the basis for the
development of antidepressants
improving life quality for people with
autism.
Strong hepatoprotective effect of the
natural pharmaceuticals on the basis
of the Artemia extract was proven
experimentally.
High effectiveness of the extract for
regeneration of the ageing skin is
proven in cosmetology.
13. In agriculture high effectiveness of the Artemia extract
was proven in following areas:
In fish breeding industry (as a component of feed to
prepare sturgeon and salmonid brood stock for spawing);
In poultry industry (as a component of feed which
increases egg production, eggs quality, and eggs
incubatory parameters);
In fur farming ( as a component of feed which increases
mink puppies’ quality in a brood).
14. Research and Production Center NEKA
offers a completely new product made
on the basis of Artemia extract that is
called «Salaris» vitamin-lipid
complex.
This vitamin-lipid complex is great
as addition to animal feed in order
to replenish the
vital essential vitamins and
minerals. Complex «Salaris» is
incredibly effective due to its
natural origins and, as a
consequence, is easily absorbed by
the body.
17. At present time Artemia is widely used as
live food in many countries.
For example, the use of Artemia nauplii in
fish farms in England has increased the
survival rate of flounder’s larvae one and a
half times. The main consumers of nauplii
are fish-breeding enterprises. During the
time of cultivation freshwater fishes (carp,
grass carp, lake trout), marine fishes
(mullet, flounder, trout, sturgeon fish),
also a giant shrimp, crabs and lobsters at
an early stage of their growing need to
feed them with live feeds. The best choice
is nauplii of Artemia Salina.
18. In South-East Asia, the aquaculture industry continues to
grow quite rapidly. The total volume of shrimp cultivation
is about 27 thousand tons per year. 44% of it is in
Thailand, 32% in Vietnam 32%, and 17% in the United
States (Hawaii).The use of Artemia Salina in feeding
directly accounts for increases in cultivated production of
fish and shrimp.
19. Vitamin-lipid complex for animal "Salaris", or extract
from cysts Artemia Salina, developed as an alternative to
live feed that consisting exclusively of nauplii Artemia
Salina.
Mainly, that we can use the extract for all ages of animals
in animal husbandry. Extract “Salaris” being as a part of
specialized feed for animals dictated by economic
efficiency of biologically active substances of this
vitamin-lipid complex that brings full satisfaction of
animals organisms needs in these substances.
20. The released form of the vitamin-lipid complex Salaris
guarantees high technological effectiveness of premixes
or forages that baised on the extract. It can be useful for
needs of fish breeding, poultry farming and fur farming.
