4. Albums Air Traffic only released one album into mainstream stores, it was called ‘Fractured Life’ and was released on 2nd July 2007. From this album, there several UK top 40 hits. Following this the album was released in America on 5th February 2008. On the week of this albums release it was named ‘album of the week’ by Capital Radio, after attaining number 42 in the album chart. Interestingly, the album did best in Belgium peaking at number 27. The only music Air Traffic released after this was offered over email to fans of the band in April 2009, in which they stated the drummer had left the band.

6. Band History The band used to rehearse in an industrial unit next to a place called ‘Hern Airport’, where they used to pick up air traffic signals on there amplifiers. This is where their name comes from! The main instrument in the band is piano, which most songs are heavily influenced by. In 2003, the first 3 members of the band met in Bournemouth and started rehearsing together. They then moved to London in 2005 where they found their final member, Jim Maddock. At this point they began looking for a record deal and got there break in 2006, being signed to big regord label EMI! After years of growing larger and larger, the band split in 2010, but it is only supposed to be a ‘break’...
