Level-High School Seniors
Grade-XI
Subject - English language
Number of students - 15
Name of the project - “Save the world”
Project duration - 4 weeks
Project aim – students work on the information they found
independently about global issue like pollution . In groups ,
after given period they will make their presentations, which
makes them aware of types, reasons and effect of pollution .
Materials and resources used –computer ,posters ,markers
,stickers , glue, scissors ,blackboard ,chalk ,photo camera

6. Process
Step 1 ) in order to present topic to the students ,teacher starts the lesson by
showing famous clip of Michael Jackson “earth song” and asks students if they
see any message in this clip (activates background knowledge ).later teacher
groups students into 3 groups according to cards ( air, water ,land ) .Within 3
weeks students find information on the given topic ,prepare poster which should
also include picture as evidence of pollution from our surrounding and possibly
of students being involved in volunteering .Teacher also introduces criteria of
evalution
Step 2) while working on the project, each group can report to the teacher what
they have done so far and tell about anticipated problems they face .Teacher gives
advice ,guides and helps them .
Step 3) After 4 weeks when all work is supposed to be finished ,students with the
help of poster make presentations in class and after finishing are asked questions.
Step 4) After all presentations are done ,teacher evaluates students work
according to :

8. Project result – after this project students will not only learn useful
vocabulary around their topics which they listen frequently on TV
or read about ,but they will discuss one of the most important
global issues these days and see its danger ,result and ways to solve
it for better future .
