2. The Parthenon is a temple on top of the
Athenian Acropolis in Greece. It was dedicated
to Goddess Athena, daughter of Zeus, her
nickname was Pallas,. Athene was the goddess
of war.
It was built around 447BC. That is more than
2000 years ago, and was finished in 432BC.

After that, the Venetians put a bomb in the
Acropolis. The Parthenon was still standing
