A presentation we gave at University of Reading's Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management conference on the future of work. We present our analysis of the a new situation in work by highlighting some changing trends - including the rise of low end and high end work resulting in a hollowing out of the middle and increasing polarisation in occupations and that history has shown that in times of uncertainty, start up behaviour increases - well over half of the forture 500 companies from 2009 were established in recession times.
