As a two-sided marketplace connecting consumers to deliveries, Postmates needed a
solution to integrate their data sources and uncover insights that would help them
aggressively scale on both new driver and new consumer acquisition.

Gadi, entrepreneurial since very young, was leading and creating technical organizations since he was 10 years old… starting his own technical communities, organizations… but still deeply passionate about product and technology...hacking since his early days (11 yo!) so no surprise that he started programming his own software at the early age of 12 and eventually led a team of technologists for 8200, the most elite intelligence unit of the Israeli army.

Implication of manual collection and standardization of data across sources: We see that there is a challenge around being able to run side by side analysis across different sources. It’s time consuming and tedious.
First, let’s talk about the challenges we face around fragmented data. This slide helps illustrate some of the complexities of the user acquisition landscape and the different types of siloed data sets that are needed to implement intelligent growth strategies.
First, in order to have extensive reach, you need to be advertising on a variety of media sources. Second, you need to accurately measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives with reliable attribution. And lastly, you need to tie in your gold mine of internal data to enrich your campaigns.
