Reply to the initial post of one classmate with a substantive reply: at least 150 words. Your
reply should extend the initial post. It may present a contrasting view and/or inquire with
relevant questions. You may also make smaller replies to other students’ posts to provide
encouragement or ask questions; these will not be graded; only the substantive replies
receive points. The question arises as to whether Jesus has any practical or relevant
experience for the 21st Century business environment. After reading the chapter how
would you answer the question: “How would Jesus do your job differently than the way you
are doing it?”I absolutely believe that Jesus has relevance in the 21st century business
environment. I think that a lot of businesses would be much better places to work, and the
world be a much better place if today’s business leaders followed and lead like Jesus. Now-
a-days we here about so much business corruption and greed. Businesses, even American
businesses manufacturing in other countries involved in child labor and some even accused
of using slave labor in countries like China. If all business leader lead like Jesus workplaces
would be at a much higher standard. The workplace would be lead with compassion and
understanding and this would help to create better morale and workers would be more
productive. If Jesus were to do my job he would do it better by being more understanding,
and being a better listener and he would know that not all people are the same and would
be able to delegate work based on peoples talents. The world could use more people like
Peter the fisher of men. More people to help lead and guide people to the word of the Lord
our teacher. In the verse Peter is skeptical but in the end he still takes that step of faith and
trusts in in the lord and experienced a miracle (Blanchard et al., 2016). Like Peter Jesus was
a hard worki9ng man for the first thirty years he was a carpenter and even though Jesus is
God he was not scared or ashamed to do hard work like a man (Blanchard et al., 2016). If
more leaders lead like this business would be in a much better shape than what they are.
