3. The underwater turbine generator is about to be used in the kaipara Harbour soon they are install about 200.and the people of Te Hapua may put some in parengarenga harbour here in the far north. Kaipara Harbour

Well for my tidal energy generator to work there has to be really strong tides and currents to generate it so the turbine can turn and if the tides and current are really really strong then that will mean that there will be a lot of tidal energy to generate all the homes in the Te Hapua community. But if there not that means that we will have to think of another way or to use a different source of tidal energy generator that will allow to generator electricity to all homes in Te Hapua community.
