Stating the
obvious…
The war in Europe has challenged
business as usual
Now: We must act in accordance

Argentina, Australien, Brasillien, Kina, Indonesien, Jamaica, Malaysia, Norge, Peru, Singapore, Sydkorea og UK. *Data er opdateret d. 10 august 2023, og seneste uge er uge 29.

Challenges
Energy infrastructure has become a target
for military attacks despite being an
illegitimate target under international
humanitarian law.
Criminals and states are targeting digital
infrastructure .
The energy system is decentralizing
increasing the challenge (can be turned to
an advantage too).
We mustn’t exchange our recent
dependency on Russian gas with a
dependency on e.g., Chinese technology.
Despite political attention, real action is
slow. One could almost wish for an “Arsenal
for Democracy” related way of thinking of
the green transition.

Solutions
Diversify the energy sources and go green
as much as possible as fast as possible.
Expand the production of energy
technology in EU to safeguard and develop
a regional RE industry.
Modernize and strengthen the energy grid
to make it more resilient to both digital
and physical threats.
Advocate for robust cybersecurity
measures, regular threat assessments, and
public-private collaborations to enhance
the sector's digital resilience.
Encourage individuals and businesses to
adopt energy-efficient practices and
technologies to reduce overall energy
demand in times it is needed.
