Diva, brat, drama queen- are all the names that she has been called over the years but yes,
you guessed it we are having an interview with the one an only THE MEGAN! We at Rise,
could not keep our excitement maintained. We get to find out all the juicy details of Megan’s
reckless lifestyle and how she keeps up with everything that goes on at home, on tour.
Today Megan discusses her upcoming album and what great rock artists she is going
to collab with. Carry on reading to find out Megan’s glorious truth and how she has kept it a
secret from everyone.
I: Hey, Megan it is so great to finally meet you in person. You are looking smoking hot as per
usual! How have you been? I know it is very stressful going into the music industry at a
young age but it seems like you have been handling it very well.
M: Hi, it is a pleasure to meet you and thank you for the compliment. I’ve been great, just
getting ready for my new album to be released. I have worked extremely hard for this album.
It was a very stressful time for me to come into the music industry at this day and age as;
everyone seems to be wanting to become a singer. There’s a lot of competition out there but
as long as you believe in yourself you can achieve anything. I must say that I do miss my
family back home quite a lot, as I use to see them all the time and now that I’m not back in
my home town Nirvana it is very rare to see them.
I: Yes I definitely agree with you. You are only 19 years old and it must have been difficult
not seeing your family, however you have achieved so much at such a young age. I bet your
parents must be so proud of you. As this is your first ever interview with RISE we would like
to know some background knowledge about you. Is that alright with you?
M: Yes, yes that’s totally fine with me.
I: Alright, then. First question, where were you educated?
M: I was educated in my hometown Nirvana, in Nirvana music technology school and
college. Most people would say that they hate school or college, however I f****** loved it.

2. Both school and college taught me how to become more confident and believe in myself.
Also, the school and college that I attended to specified in my favourite subject which is
music. I met many people in school and college that had the same passion as me for music
and we got along very well. To this day many of my school and college friends still keep
contact with me. I guess the saying the saying that music can bring friends together is
actually quite true.
I: It seems like you had a very good time at school and college. However, may I ask did you
attend university?
M: No I did not attend university as; I got offered my career at the age of 16 so I did not have
the chance to attend university unfortunately. If I did have the chance to attend university I
would have done a creative subject.
I: Oh, I see, but at least you had a great time at school and college and you will cherish
those memories forever.
M:Yes, definitely.
I: Now, the question everyone has been waiting for, what is your hidden truth? What have
you been hiding for your fans all this time?
M: Well, the truth is...And it might not even be that interesting to any of you guys or my fans
but it is very important to me and it changed my life forever. The truth is that a couple
months ago I found out that I have a brother and I met him just a few weeks ago. It was the
best day of my life when I found this out, as my parents knew that I’ve always wanted a
sibling. I cannot get into much detail about why my parents hid my brother from me but I
know that I’m extremely happy for having a brother and I feel extremely blessed for having
him in my life today.
I: Oh my, that is such great news. Congratulations for finally meeting your brother, I bet your
fans will be happy for you when they find this news out.
M: I hope they will be, as after such a long time I will finally have a sibling to talk to and
share my feelings with when I feel like I have no one else that can understand me.
I: Yes, it is a great feeling talking to someone who understands you and is with you through

3. your good times and bad times. Now, onto the next question, can you give us a sneak peek
of some of you song titles from your upcoming album and sing us a couple lines from one of
your songs?
M: Hmm, well I guess as my album is coming out in a few weeks I could give you a sneak
peek. Well, four of my personal favourite songs from the album are: ‘hard life’, ‘wrong’,
‘precious’ and ‘timings’. All of these songs relate to different parts of my life, and I was
hoping that I could tell a story through these songs to my fans and I hope they will be
inspired to not make the same mistakes I made and actually learn from my mistakes. Now, is
the time that you all get to hear a couple lines from upcoming single ‘hard life’: “I had a
nightmare, my worst nightmare, it was you. Never thought my heart would feel such a way
but I guess it’s a hard life.” That is all the sneak peeks that you guys are getting from me
today.
I: Oh wow, your song titles seem very interesting and I absolutely love the lyrics from ‘hard
life’ already. I personally cannot wait for your upcoming album to come out. I feel like it is
going to be a huge hit.
M: Thank you, it means a lot to me.
I: One final question, who are your musical inspirations?
M: Well, I do love many artists however, my favourites are Coldplay and Guns & Roses.
They definitely inspire me with their lyrics and their passion for music. Also, there may or
may not be a collab in my upcoming album with Coldplay. You guys will have to purchase
the album to find out.
I: Well, guys we just got another sneak peek. Is it True that Coldplay maybe in Megan’s
upcoming album? We will never know until the album is released. Well, that is all for today
