Profile
๏ด Bridgers Association Cameroon is a registered Non-Profit Organization with a
mission to empower women/girls to create an environment in which both men
and women enjoy equity, contribute and benefit as equal partners without any
barriers.
๏ด We tackle WASH, Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Education, Menstrual
Health Management and Gender-Based Violence Prevention.
๏ด We attain our mission through advocacy, economic empowerment, sensitization
of the society, donations, awareness campaigns and deliver resource support.
๏ด Accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and
with many international and national affiliations, Bridgers flexibly works with new
and innovative individuals and partners who are passionate about providing
sustainable solutions to the challenges vulnerable people and communities face.

7. Our
Impact
Since 2013, Bridgers Association Cameroon has impacted directly and indirectly over
500,200 lives globally.
We have achieve this through advocacy revolving around our key programs which include:
Women and Entrepreneurship; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Sexual Reproductive
Health and Rights; Climate Smart Agriculture; Environmental Education; and Quality
Education for the Girl Child.
SITUATIONS
COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the Corona virus in Cameroon, Bridgers Association
Cameroon is actively involved in sensitization of the population on the barrier measures and
distribution of preventive kits within rural and urban communities as well as well as in
schools, thanks to donors and volunteers.
The Anglophone Crisis: Following the escalation of the Anglophone Crisis which has led to
the displacement of many families from their homes, Bridgers Association Cameroon in
partnership with donors is granting relief to many of these victims through humanitarian
donations and providing psycho-social support.
8. Our Theory of
Change
๏ดWith ECOSOC Special Consultative Status, Bridgers Association Cameroon is a flag bearer of the 17 UN
Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and so far has attained its mission in the past 8years(2013-2020) of
itโs existence. This has been achieved through youth and women empowerment by the promotion of quality
education, agriculture, WASH, entrepreneurship, capacity building in volunteerism programs and
Reproductive Health Rights protection and education. To sustain its sustainability, successful projects and
ensuring the enforcement of the principle of solidarity, Bridgers is involved in partnerships and collaboration
with other organizations and stakeholders, in line with its mission, also aiming to eradicate poverty and uplift
womenโs place in the society, which is free from violence and all forms of inequalities.
๏ด Bridgers is convinced that as long as the aforementioned is ensured; the community becomes a safe
space for all, importantly, women/girls as they are the chronically vulnerable group. It enhances an
environment free from discrimination, stigma, ignorance, hunger, environmental chaos and injustice. To
effectively attain the aforementioned, Bridgers has taken advantage of the funds, grants and donations to
impact positively to societies in Cameroon.
Despite how measuring the success of our impact, which has been very consistent, Bridgers has impacted
positively to those women/girls, who have benefited immensely from our initiative. Bridgers also applaud and
acknowledges the steady collaboration of the schools, our partners, the government and the youths in
actively participating on our social media campaigns to make the world a better place and achieve
sustainable development.

18. Based on Our Feasibility Studies:
๏ด Partner with us to fight against Gender Based Violence and Early Child Marriage.
๏ด Partner and Support the rehabilitation/construction of water collection points (Boreholes,
natural springs and wells) in the Baka Pygmy zone and Mbam and Kim Division of the
East and Center Regions of Cameroon.
๏ด Provide COVID-19 sensitization support for communities in great need of
preventive as well as recovery and education materials.
๏ด Provide skills building through vocational training/seed capital for women/girls economic
empowerment in
Cameroon.
๏ด Provide sustainable menstrual hygiene kits to keep more girls in school.
๏ด Scale up our organic agriculture projects for women in Cameroon.
๏ด Provide basic material support and economic empowerment for
IDPs in Cameroon.
๏ด Partner with us for our Health Awareness Program in Cameroon.

20. VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES!
๏ด Bridgers Association Cameroon upholds the concept of Volunteerism
and welcomes new initiatives for sustainable development.
๏ด We welcome both National and International volunteers in our organization. In
order to curb unemployment and build skills which blends theoretical knowledge with
practical knowledge and making them more viable in the job market, volunteers
wishing to learn as well as those wishing to share their knowledge and experiences are
welcome at Bridgers.
๏ด Volunteers have the flexible option to choose their working hours and days,
according to their availability. In a nutshell, volunteerism here is done onsite and online
and this has provided the opportunity a life time experience for hundreds of volunteers
world wide.
