Jalalabad city is located in the junction of Kabul river and Kunar river near laghman valley in the
eastern part of Afghanistan . It is the most famous and capital city of Nangarhar province. situated
near the base of Khyber pass.

Jalalabad is the gateway from Afghanistan to the Indian Subcontinent. It sits between two
mountain ranges, the Hindu Kush to the north and the Safed Kuh to the south.
