◦ SKS has been started in year 2006 February 14 th by its founder
Nageswara Rao Potluri.
◦ It started with a member of six employee, near Gudivada in
Andhra Pradesh , India.
◦ Later this was certified by Andhra Pradesh Commissioner &
Director of Agriculture in the field of Bio fertilizers manufacturer.
◦ The advisory panel consists of eminent Food and Biotechnology
Scientists, Environmental Scientists and Engineers having several
years of experience in these areas.
◦ Being a young and energetic team, they offer the advantage of
accessibility, flexibility, free communication and open minded
approach which creates a homely atmosphere for their clients.

 Composition:
Contains active culture of the microorganisms in inert carrier,
Formulation:
Ready to apply powder,
Recommended crops:
Can be used in all crops, However, it is specially recommended in Rice,
Tobacco, Sugarcane, Maize, Corn, Wheat, Sunflower, Rape Groundnut,
Soybean, Coffee, Tea, Vegetable, Ornamentals, etc.
Method of application & dosage:
Mix 10 kg of Bio fertilizers with 50 kg Farm yard manure or sand and
broadcast uniformly in one acre field.
Packing:
Primary: 10 kg bag
 Final turn over is Rs. 1 corer per annum
 SKS made its foray into microbial fermentation to support
the manufacture of biofertilizers, probiotics & enzymes
using submerged fermentation and solid substrate
fermentation technology.
In 2006, they commissioned their first large scale
submerged fermenters capable of handling bacteria,
fungal and yeast cultures. In 2008, they started large scale
solid substrate fermentation for enzymes production.
At the end of the fermentation process, the broth is
harvested and processed in different methods depending
on the nature of the product.
 Other than this bio fertilizer the other products are
enzymes (amylases, phytase, lipase, cellulase, and
protease),probiotics(bio vet, bio enzymes, bio
plankton), biopesticides (sks PF.sks BB,sks TV).
Effulent treatment. Bio gas, tissue culture are the
other projects on which work is going on.
 They are having facilities like: - 500 sft R&D
laboratory - 1500 sft Solid state fermentation
facility - 100 Kg/ hr steam generator - 8000
CFU clean air system - Facilities for down
stream processing and packaging - R&D
Facility for extraction, purification and
process development for bio molecules. -
Installed capacity of 180 tones per month of
enzymes and bio molecules. - Contract
manufacture and R&D services.
