Working while studying!!
You may be eligible to work in Canada while
studying and after you graduate. As a study
permit holder, you may qualify to work off
campus without an additional work permit.
You do not need a work permit to work off-
campus, but you will need Social Insurance
Number. It is your responsibility to look for work.

Stay in Canada after graduation
1. To work in Canada after you graduate, you must apply
for a work permit under the Post-Graduation Work
Permit Program (PGWPP).
2. To get PGWPP - You must have studied full time in
Canada and you must have completed a program of study
that lasted at least eight months which MLC College is
running.
3. If you want to stay in Canada as a permanent resident
after you graduate, there are a number of programs
available, each with its own requirements. Please
contact cic.gc.ca to get more information.

How to obtain Letter of Acceptance
u If you are granted admission to a Diploma program at MLC College
of Business Technology and Healthcare, you will receive an official
acceptance letter from the respective registrar. You will then need
to apply for a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration
Canada (CIC) office local to your city.
u You should send all the documents scanned if remote to our
Ahmedabad office (originals will be verified) to Komal at
komal@mlccollege.com. Once she reviews all the documents, you
need to process a demand draft in favor of MLC College of
Business Technology and Healthcare, Mississauga, Canada for
CAD $100.
u Upon receiving all the documents and the DD, Canada registrar
office will issue Letter of Acceptance. Electronic copy of LOA will
be mailed to Komal and the original will be posted to Ahmedabad
office.

The check list for applying for student visa
1. Application for Study Permit made Outside of Canada (IMM 1294), duly
completed.
2. Completed Family Information (IMM 5645), if applicable.
3. Schedule 1 - Application for Temporary Resident Visa (IMM 5257 - Schedule
1), if applicable. Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union (IMM 5409), if
applicable.
4. Photocopy of your Marriage Certificate, if applicable
5. Custodianship Declaration - Custodian for Minors Studying in Canada (IMM
5646), if applicable. Use of a Representative (IMM 5476), if applicable.
6. Letter of acceptance from the Designated Learning Institution (MLC
College) where you intend to study.
7. Proof of financial support for the duration of your studies in Canada.
8. Application processing fee payment of $150 per person and, Verify
acceptable methods of payment with the Visa office or Visa Application
Center (VAC) responsible for your area. Note: Visa offices do not accept
payments receipts from Canadian banks

9. Passport: Original valid passport only if you require a temporary
resident visa (TRV). Your passport must include a blank page other
than the last page OR
- the issuance and expiry dates,
- your photo, name, date and place of birth.

name and date of birth.
