4. NTA UGC NET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The conducting authority of the
exam sets some guidelines to
appear in the exam known as
eligibility criteria. It is crucial to
satisfy these criteria to apply for
the exam.
The eligibility for the NTA NET
Exam 2022 has been decided
based on two major factors i.e.,
education qualification and age
limit.

5. UGC NET EXAM 2022 EDUCATION
QUALIFICATION –
If you have completed post-graduation or have enrolled for the master's, you can apply for this exam.
Candidates require 55% marks in their master’s degree for general/EWS category and 50% marks for
SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Transgender.
PhD degree holders can also apply for the UGC NET 2022.

6. NTA NET 2022 AGE LIMIT –
There is no age restriction to appear for the UGC NET 2022 Assistant Professor post.
If you want to apply for JRF, your age should be 31 years or less.

7. UGC NET 2022 Application Form
You can apply for the exam in just four easy steps: -
Step 1 – Go to the UGC NET 2022 official website (https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/) and
register for the 2022 Exam.
Step 2 – Fill in the personal and educational details in the online application form.
Step 3 – Upload your scanned Photograph and Signature as per the NTA NET 2022
guidelines.
Step 4 – Pay the application fee through SBI /Syndicate/HDFC /ICICI Payment
Gateways i.e., Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking/Paytm.
