  2. 2. • A HACKATHON (ALSO KNOWN AS A HACKDAY, HACKFEST OR CODEFEST) IS A DESIGN SPRINT-LIKE EVENT IN WHICH COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS AND OTHERS INVOLVED IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING GRAPHIC DESIGNERS, INTERFACE DESIGNERS, PROJECT MANAGERS, AND OTHERS, OFTEN INCLUDING SUBJECT-MATTER-EXPERTS, COLLABORATE INTENSIVELY ON SOFTWARE PROJECTS.OCCASIONALLY, THERE IS A HARDWARE COMPONENT AS WELL. HACKATHONS TYPICALLY LAST BETWEEN A DAY AND A WEEK. SOME HACKATHONS ARE INTENDED SIMPLY FOR EDUCATIONAL OR SOCIAL PURPOSES, ALTHOUGH IN MANY CASES THE GOAL IS TO CREATE USABLE SOFTWARE. HACKATHONS TEND TO HAVE A SPECIFIC FOCUS, WHICH CAN INCLUDE THE PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE USED, THE OPERATING SYSTEM, AN APPLICATION, AN API, OR THE SUBJECT AND THE DEMOGRAPHIC GROUP OF THE PROGRAMMERS. IN OTHER CASES, THERE IS NO RESTRICTION ON THE TYPE OF SOFTWARE BEING CREATED What is Hackathon ?

  4. 4. PROBLEM 1 EVERY YEAR RETIREMENT IS COMPULSORY AND IN PLACE OF RETIRED TEACHERS, JOINING OF NEW TEACHERS IS NOT MAINTAINED. WHEN THE VACANCY OPENS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR ON ACCOUNT OF THE SUPERANNUATION OF A FACULTY, THE STUDENTS ARE THE VICTIMS.
  5. 5. SOLUTION FOR MAINTAINING THE JOINING PROCESS OF TEACHERS AT A TIME, FIRSTLY WE SHOULD CALCULATE THE VACANCIES AND RETIREMENT PROCESS OF TEACHERS. EXAMS FOR TEACHER SHOULD BE CONDUCTED BEFORE THE ACADEMIC YEAR

Example: If the vacancies are 1000 in number and retiring officers are 100 then we should conduct exams for 1050 people, we will take 50 from those retiring officers who are willing to continue teaching up to the end of the academic year. If there is shortage of officers who are willing to continue, we can appoint PhD. pursuing students to take charge on their behalf and complete the slot.

JULY AUG SEPT OCT NOV • If the teachers are retiring between july to December then joining of new officers should be in July and could be extended at a max upto august. • List of retiring officers should be prepared till the end of the previous session. • And the procedure for selecting the PhD. pursuing students should be conducted during the starting of the new session. • Same is applicable for the even semester. JAN FEB MAR APR MAY ODD SEMESTER EVEN SEMESTER
  8. 8. PROBLEM 2 IF THE TEACHER IS RESIGNING FOR HIS/HER PERSONAL REASONS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR, THEN IT WILLAFFECT THE STUDIES OF THE STUDENTS.

SOLUTION IF THE TEACHERS IS TAKING LONG LEAVE FOR HIS/HER PERSONAL REASONS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR, THEN WE WILL TAKE INTERVIEW OF TEACHER FOR GIVING JOB ON TEMPORARY BASIS/GUEST FACULTY. THIS PROCESS WILL TAKE FEW DAYS [4-5 DAYS].UNTIL THE SELECTION OF TEACHERS HIGHER CLASS STUDENTS SHOULD CONDUCT THE CLASSES.
  10. 10. PROBLEM 3 TEACHERS ARE PRESENT IN THE COLLEGE, BUT THEY DO NOT TAKE LECTURES PROPERLY.
  11. 11. SOLUTION • FIRSTLY TEACHERS SHOULD GIVE THEIR ATTENDANCE DAILY ON FINGER PRINT SCANNER. AND AGAIN IN EVERY LECTURE THEY HAVE TO GIVE ATTENDANCE ON FINGER PRINT SCANNER. • ALSO THE ATTENDANCE OF STUDENT WILL BE CALCULATED BY THE FEEDBACK OF STUDENT AND EVERY STUDENT SHOULD GIVE THE FEEDBACK. • THIS PROCESS IS VERY USEFUL FOR US. BECAUSE IT WILL HELP TO INCREASE THE ATTENDANCE OF THE TEACHERS AS WELL AS THE STUDENTS AND THE GROWTH OF EDUCATION LEVEL WILL INCREASE IN HEAPS AND BOUNDS.
  12. 12. PROBLEM 4 IF THE TEACHER IS ABSENT, ON HIS/HER BEHALF NO ONE TEACHES.
  13. 13. • (A)IF THE TEACHER IS ABSENT REPLACEMENT SHOULD BE PROVIDED. • (B) HIGHER CLASS STUDENTS SHOULD CONDUCT THE CLASS. • (C) IN PLACE OF THEORY SESSION PRACTICAL SESSION SHOULD BE TAKEN. Solution
  14. 14. PROBLEM 5 JOINING PROCESS IS VERY LONG, SO WE NEED TO SHORTEN THE PROCESS.
  15. 15. SOLUTION • JOINING PROCESS WILL FASTER IF WE WORK ON THIS PROCESS. • EXAMS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED ONLINE, SO IT WILL SAVE OUR TIME AND RESULT BE DECLARED WITHIN IN SHORT TIME. • INTERVIEW SHOULD ALSO BE ONLINE SO THEIR WILL BE VERY LESS CHANCES OF BRIBERY AND WE CAN GET KNOWLEDGEABLE FACULTY.
  16. 16. PROBLEM 6 LACK OF SPECIFIC FIELD FACULTY
  17. 17. SOLUTION • IF WE DO NOT GET THE FACULTY OF SPECIFIC FIELD THEN WE CAN CALL TEACHERS FROM OTHER STATES OF THAT PARTICULAR FIELD. • FOR THIS WE CAN GIVE ADVERTISEMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIAAND PRINT MEDIA.

CONCLUSION • ON THE BASIS OF THESE ABOVE IDEAS APPOINTMENT AND RETIREMENT PROCESS BECOME MORE FLEXIBLE AND THE STUDENT WILL NOT SUFFER DURING MIDDLE OF SESSION AND STUDENTS GET THEIR TEACHERS IN TIME. THE TEACHERS ALSO TAKE THEIR LECTURES PROPERLY. • DUE TO ONLINE EXAMS THE SELECTION PROCESS BECOMES MORE FLEXIBLE AND COMPLETE WITHIN A SHORT TIME. AND WITH ONLINE INTERVIEW THERE WILL BE NO CHANCE OF BRIBERY. • RESULT OF THIS STUDENT AND COUNTRY WILL GET KNOWLEDGEABLE TEACHERS. • LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST THE APPOINTMENTS AND RETIREMENTS
