APPLICATIONS
•Aerospace industry: Machining of high-
strength aluminum alloy sheets and titanium
alloys. It is usually cheaper than milling
because it requires simpler clamping systems.
•Used for surface preparation such as
cleaning ship hulls and automotive Paint
•Automotive industry: Cutting of the interior
panels of wood fiber doors, carried out by
robots. It is also applied to the cutting of
brake shoes, thus eliminating the problem of
friction material particles floating in the air.
