NARO proposes using NFC rings at events to enable contactless check-ins, advertisements, authentication of goods and devices, calls to action, and distribution of vouchers and coupons. The NFC rings would work with Android and Windows phones and could enable functions like Bluetooth pairing, mobile companion tags, and product authentication. Users would download an app, scan the QR code on the ring packaging to connect their credit or debit card to load funds, and then use the ring at venues like restaurants.
