2. His name was Charles Wojtyła.He was born on 18th
May 1920 in Wadowice.After the death of his parents
and siblings he entered the seminary in 1941. His first
Mass was celebrated in chapel of Saint Leonard.On
16th
October 1978 he became pope and changed his
name on John Paul II.

3. He knew fluently 7 languages and pilgrimages​
around the world.He visited such countries as:
Germany,Poland,Australia,Uruguay,Chile,United
States,Columbia,India,Africa,Spain,Argentina,
Japan,UK,Turkey,Mexico,Ireland,Canada,
Belgium,Portugal,Netherlands,Latin
America,Cuba,Brasil,Israel,Philppines and
Luxembourg.

4. On 13th
May 1981 there was an attemp on the
pope, but he survived and forgave the man who
tryied to kill hm.Johh Paul II died after heavy
illnes called Parkinson.He died on 2nd
April
2005.His canonization was on 27th
April 2014.
